Lumi Worsfold – Manual Lymphatic Drainage

I was born in Romania in 1968, where I studied and in 1999 qualified as a Physiotherapist. I came to live in England in 2004, and have lived in Hampshire since.

Having spent most of my working life in the public and private sectors, in 2009 I decided to enhance my career and studied Holistic and Complementary Therapies. I have worked within the NHS since 2009 as Technical Instructor in Hand Therapy.

I currently work as a Lymphoedema Therapist at St Georges Hospital in London, and also work voluntarily as an MLD Therapist at The Fountain Centre in Guildford which is part of St Lukes Cancer Unit based at the Royal Surrey County Hospital.

I am qualified in Manual Lymph Drainage/ Decongestive Lymphatic Therapy (Vodder Trained) and provide Lymphoedema services. I am also qualified in Reflexology, Electrotherapy and am a qualified  (OTAGO)  Strength and Balance Training Leader for the Frailer and Elder Person registered with Laterlife Training Ltd, which I carry out ( one to one and group sessions).

I carry out my private treatments in the calm and peaceful environment within clinics in Fleet, Life of Lymph, Sentinial House, Ancells Business Park, Harvest Crescent, Fleet, GU51 2UZ, and in Farnham at (Farnham Natural Therapy Centre) and the surrounding areas. I also carry out home visits.

I am always keeping up to date with all of the latest research and developments. I am fortunate that I love what I do and carry out my treatments with passion and enthusiasm.

MLD UK requires that all of their therapists are to update their training at least every two years, to ensure that they maintain the highest standards. I am a fully registered member of MLDuk, NHSTA and I am insured with Balens.
